I’m so excited to share this beautiful resource created in collaboration with CBA Women, a ministry of the Charleston Baptist Association.

Worthy: Beholding Christ Through the Women Who Witnessed His Work is a devotional written by women from churches across the greater Charleston area. Each reflection invites us to slow down, spend a little time with Jesus, and remember that He truly is worthy.

Throughout the devotional, you’ll meet women from Scripture who encountered Jesus during His ministry — women like Mary of Bethany, the woman at the well, Mary Magdalene, and others whose lives were changed by Him. Their stories remind us what it looks like to see Jesus clearly, respond in faith, and point others toward Him.

I had the joy of helping organize this project and contributing one of the devotionals on Mary Magdalene. One of my favorite parts was reading each reflection as it came together. These women come from different churches, different seasons of life, and different stories — and yet the Lord wove it all together in such a beautiful way.

Different writers, different experiences, but all pointing to the same truth: how worthy our Savior is. It reminded me of the picture in Revelation 5:12, where countless voices join together declaring, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise.”

Our prayer is that this devotional helps you pause in the middle of a busy season and spend a few quiet moments with the Savior. Whether you’re just beginning to explore faith or you’ve walked with Jesus for many years, we hope these reflections gently draw you closer to Him and remind you that He is worthy.
